The Computer Software and Website Committee

The Computer Software and Website Committee is one of the most important and dynamic committee of the college which works in a collaborative environment. It maintains an evolving, user-friendly website and provide tools for easy learning and facilitation of various services as required by the college.

The primary objective of this committee is to include usage of technology to improve all aspects functioning in the college and enhance productivity of all the concerned stakeholders like faculty, administration and students. The committee recommends the software needed for students and administration for purchase. The committee also ensures that timely updates related to the college are shared through the website.

The Computer Software and Website Committee has played a crucial role in the time of pandemic, be it hands on training on Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom, Google Forms, Jam board, Insert Learning or creating professional Microsoft ID’s/ G-suite accounts for the faculty as well as the students, the committee has always taken care of all the technological needs of the college.

Without the functioning of this committee, education environment of the college wouldn’t have been smooth and glitch free.

During the time of pandemic, when we all faced ‘lockdowns’ many times, technology became our only saviour. Transition from college notice board to notifications section on the college website happened in few days’ time. Trying to find out everything in an online mode became our routine affair in the current times, be it time table, events, attendance, notices, e-resources or anything else and the committee handled these expectations quite meticulously. This committee has done wonders in this difficult time and hope to do so in the near future as well.
