Its an honour and pleasure on my part to assume the office of the Principal, Shyam Lal College (Evening) at a historic juncture of Diamond Jubilee since its foundation in 1964.

It makes me feel immensely proud and honoured to have been entrusted with the responsibility of carrying forward the historic legacy of the institution and accomplish the cherished ideals and realise the vision of its founder Late Padma Shree Shyam Lal Gupta. 

We at Shyam Lal College (Evening) rededicate ourselves to the noble cause of disseminating knowledge through quality education, that is inclusive, accessible, affordable and above all based on the values and ethics, congruous to the moral fabric of the Indian nation. 

We as a ‘Collective’, proudly pledge to commit ourselves to stay invested in building our institution with renewed energy and vigour and at the same time contribute substantially to the cause of accomplishing the larger goals of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by the time the nation would be celebrating its centenary year of independence in 2047.
