Enactus Shyam Lal College (Evening) was founded in the Year 2017 with the vision of sustaining a better world around us. The team managed to accomplish several tasks/projects with the help of faculty advisor Dr. Aditya P. Tripathi, Licensee Rajan and Himanshu Jakhmola along with other office bearers as founders.
Ongoing Projects :
Enactus-SLCE initiated its first Project – Swabhimaanthat emphasizes on women’s health and hygiene. The Project depicts one of the main concerns of the womenhood during menstruation and spread awareness about it in the underprivileged areas. In 2019-20, the team visited several areas in Delhi NCR to spread awareness about it and distributed sanitary napkins among them.
Another project of Enactus-SLCE-Lakshay focuses on the issue of educational resources in the underprivileged areas. The team set up stationery shops in underprivileged areas/societies to provide access to educational resources at affordable prices to children.The seller of the shop would be the prime beneficiary of the project who will get 60% of the revenue which in means, the Project focuses on the employment opportunities in these areas. Team Enactus set up several shops in Delhi NCR with the help of the faculty advisor and office bearers in the year 2019-20.
The third Project of Enactus-SLCE is Amrit, which signifies its title by elixir of health. The Project set up juice stalls in the semi urban areas in Delhi NCR in which household ladies prepare and sell the juices at affordable prices. The raw material and the labour training is provided by the team Enactus, the revenue generated by the project is distributed in the ratio of 60:40 between beneficiary and the Enactus team respectively.
Apart from the principal Projects, the team also had been active in other social works and activities. Enactus Shyam Lal College (Evening) has taken initiative for plantation drive at shakarpur basti in collaboration with Aaina foundation.

- Enactus SLCE organized an Orientation program on 17th January 2021. In that orientation program, we present and explain our projects in front of the freshers students. Dr. Tripathi also gave his valuable words to the Students and also motivated them for the Welfaristic work.
- On 3rd January, Enactus SLCE organised inter-College events like Quiz competitions and Singing Competition aiming towards the skill enhancement of students. The winners were Ms. Prerana Agrawal and Mr. Krishnangi Tripathi for Quiz and Singing Competition respectively.
- On 13th February 2021, Project Lakshya organised a collection drive Programme on Mayur Vihar pocket1 and Laxmi Nagar. Lakshay is continuously moving towards the aim of accessibility of stationary on minimum cost by providing employment to the needy one and free education in slums and underprivileged area.
- On 27th February 2021, Team Swabhimaan members visited in slum and took a session there to spread awareness among women about the women hygiene, also make them aware about precautions that should be taken during menstruation. The sanitary pads were also distributed to women there.
