Brief Description (in about 100 words):

Shyam Lal College (Evening) successfully conducted a faculty training session on “Understanding Research Work Evaluation in UGCF 2022” under the aegis of the Academic Planning Committee (APC), coordinated by Dr. Bharti. The session was mandatory for all faculty members and aimed at enhancing understanding of the new evaluation framework, assessment guidelines, and the role of faculty mentors in promoting research and academic excellence.

The session commenced with a warm welcome by Prof. Aditya Tripathi, who outlined the objectives of the training and emphasized the importance of aligning teaching and mentorship practices with the UGCF 2022 framework. The session was led by Dr. Tanuj Dhawan, Assistant Professor, Ramjas College, who provided in-depth insights into the evaluation framework for research, translation, and entrepreneurship tracks, and clarified the assessment guidelines and criteria.

Faculty members actively participated in discussions and the interactive Q&A, gaining insights into effective academic planning, mentoring students in research, and implementing the evaluation criteria in their respective departments.

The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Aditya Tripathi, expressing gratitude to the Principal, Prof. Nachiketa Singh, Dr. Tanuj Dhawan, and all participating faculty for their enthusiastic engagement.

A special thanks was extended to Dr. Bharti for her meticulous organisation and dedication, ensuring the seamless execution of the training session.
