Brief Description
The Department of English organized an Orientation Program for B.A. Prog 1st year students on 1st September at 4:00 PM in Room No. 3. Around 40 students participated enthusiastically, marking a vibrant start to the academic session. The programme aimed at establishing a rapport between department and the students.
On this occasion, the Principal , Prof Nachiketa Singh highlighted the significance of English Language in all spheres of life. The Teacher Incharge, Dr. Kusum Devi overviewed the course structure and introduced the department. Dr. Sarika Tyagi welcomed the students, and congratulated them on securing their admission in University of Delhi. Faculty members- Dr. Sandeep Kumar Yadav, Dr. Vatsal Singh, Dr. Sarika Tyagi and Dr. Megha Jain, shared their insightful perspectives on literature, critical thinking, and language learning. Every teacher ensured the students that they can reach out to the department whenever they need any help. The event concluded with refreshments, interactive exchanges, and a Vote of Thanks, fostering warmth, guidance, and motivation.
