About National Service Scheme(NSS)-NSS is a social service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth affairs and sports ,Government of India.It aims to develop the personality of students through community services and promote a sense of social responsibility.Helps develops an all-round personality through service learning.The National Service Scheme(NSS) plays a vital role in shaping the youth into socially responsible citizens who contribute to Nation building.NSS also gives exposure to rural life ,culture,and national integration.The symbol of NSS is based on the Rath Wheel Of the Konark Sun Temple of Odisha.It signifies the cycle of creation,preservation,and release-symbolizing continuous movement and progress.
