Internal Complaint Committee

The Internal Complaints Committee under the presiding officer Dr. Archna Upadhyaya has carried out numerous activities to sensitise students about gender issues.

Interviews were conducted to select gender champions for the academic session 2024-2025. Committee members Dr. Sandhya Verma, Ms ILa Bhushan Jain, Dr. Manu Umesh, Ms Anjana Gusain, Shri Govind Singh and gender champions actively informed students about various gender issues.

During 10-13 September, 2024, the Internal Complaints Committee (in collaboration with the Anti-Ragging and Discipline Committee) conducted a sensitization program on the college campus.

As part of this four day awareness campaign, all the members of both the committees visited classrooms in the campus and met the students. The convenor of the Internal Complaints Committee, Professor Archna Upadhyaya and Convenor of Discipline and Anti-Ragging Committee, Sh. Anil Kumar Singh talked to the students. They told the students about the absolute zero tolerance policy of the college towards any rowdy, indecent behaviour by any student. It was made clear to the students that ragging is prohibited by law and it is a punishable offence. Posters on anti-ragging were circulated among the students by the committee members. Professor Upadhyaya informed the students about the ICC and that it shall investigate all complaints for justice to the victim. However ICC would make sure that if there are any fake complaints, they would be punished.

A  Speech Competition on ‘Stree Shashaktikaran ke badlte sandarbh’ was organized by ICC on 17th February 2025. Students participated with passion and it was a successful event. Judges for the competition were Dr. Sunita Khurana, Dr. Surbhi Badhwar and Dr. Ram Roop Meena. ICC along with newly created Women Development Cell (WDC) strives to create an enabling environment for students of the college.
