AMOUR – THE COMMERCE SOCIETY

Overview

Initium is theprestigious annual fest of Amour, the Commerce Society of Shyamlal College (Evening), University of Delhi. The tenth edition, Initium 10, was a landmark celebration that brought together students, budding entrepreneurs, strategists, and creative minds under one roof. The fest featured a series of competitive events designed to test participants across diverse domains of commerce and management. Three flagship events were held on 25th April, 2026, commencing at 3:00 PM, each offering prize money worth upto 10,000.

Event 1: Campus Tank 3.0

About the Event

CampusTank 3.0,themed “Pitch. Impress. Get Invested.” was an entrepreneurship competition modelled on the popular Shark Tank format. Participants were given the opportunity to present their business ideas before a panel of judges who played the role of investors. The event was held at the Seminar Hall and drew enthusiastic participation from aspiring entrepreneurs.

Participation

The event witnessed active participation from approximately 15 participants who competed by pitching innovative startup concepts. Each participant had the chance to win prizes worth ZIOK, gain valuable exposure, and receive constructive feedback. A panel of judges was present to evaluate the pitches on the basis of innovation, feasibility, market potential, and presentation skills.

Event 2: Capital Crest

About the Event

CapitalCrest — “TheAuction of Companies” — was a strategy-based auction simulation event, centered on the tagline “Bid. Strategize. Conquer.” Participants were tasked with analyzing companies, placing strategic bids, outsmarting rivals, and ultimately ruling the market. The event was conducted in Room 20 and offered a rich simulation of real-world market dynamics.

Participation

Around 12teams participated in Capital Crest, bringing their financial acumen and strategic thinking to the table. The competitive environment tested participants’ ability to make highpressure decisions under simulated market conditions. The event prize pool stood upto 10000. Team

Event 3: Rebrand the Brand

About the Event

Rebrand the Brand was a dynamic Marketing & Branding Competition that challenged participants to reimagine and revitalize real-world brands through creative marketing strategies. Held at the Amphitheatre, the event provided participants with a platform to showcase their marketing skills, think out of the box, and present compelling rebranding pitches before a panel of judges. Participation

The event saw participation from approximately 12 participants who presented their rebranding strategies for real companies. Participants were evaluated on creativity, market insight, originality, and the overall feasibility of their rebranding concepts. A panel of judges assessed each presentation and prizes worth upto 10000 were at stake. Team

Conclusion

Initium 10 was a resounding success, reflecting the dedication and organizational excellence of Amour — The Commerce Society of Shyamlal College (Evening). All three events — Campus Tank 3.0, Capital Crest, and Rebrand the Brand — were well-executed and attracted enthusiastic participation. The fest provided students with a meaningful platform to apply their academic knowledge, develop practical skills, and compete in a spirited environment. The organizing teams, led by Aayushi & Nihal, Hridank & Priyanshu, and Aditi & Rimjhim respectively, played an instrumental role in ensuring seamless execution. The presence of judges at Campus Tank 3.0 and Rebrand the Brand further elevated the competitive and professional atmosphere of the fest.
