Eco Club

Shyam Lal College (Evening) has a very active and dedicated Eco Club, which aims to spread awareness about the environment and encourage everyone to take better care of the ecosystem. The Eco Club strongly supports the “Go Green Initiative,” which means choosing ways to live that are sustainable and kind to the Earth. Our mission is to protect the environment, raise awareness and inspire positive change, starting from our own campus.

The Eco Club instils a deep sense of responsibility and sensitivity towards nature in our students. It encourages both students and staff to participate in a collaborative way to make the world a better, cleaner and more sustainable place for all. The club is rooted in the idea that change begins with awareness but grows through action. To make our campus greener and healthier, the club organizes various activities such as tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, recycling programs etc. These efforts not only improve our surroundings but also help build a spirit of teamwork and environmental responsibility.The club also promotes simple eco-friendly habits in daily life, such as saving water and electricity, avoiding plastic, reusing materials and keeping our environment clean. It spreads the message that small actions, when done together, can lead to big changes.
