Students from our college actively participated in the India AI Impact Summit 2026, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, by visiting the summit expo on 16th, 17th, 18th February 2026. Different groups of students attended on different days, ensuring wider participation, improved outreach, and meaningful exposure to the rapidly evolving Artificial Intelligence ecosystem. One faculty member also visited the summit on 18 February 2026 to accompany, mentor, and guide the participating students during the visit.
The summit engagement began with students attending the focused session on “AI for Road Safety”, organized by the Centre of Excellence for Road Safety (CoERS), IIT Madras, under the aegis of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). The session, held on Monday, 16 February 2026, at L2 Audi 1, Bharat Mandapam, offered important insights into the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in enhancing road safety frameworks. Experts discussed how data driven analytics, predictive modelling, and AI enabled monitoring systems are supporting policy formulation and large-scale safety interventions across the country.
Recognized as one of India’s prominent AI gatherings, the summit brought together policymakers, AI innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, startups, and industry leaders on a single high impact platform. The expo component of the summit served as a vibrant technology showcase where students were able to directly interact with emerging AI solutions and next generation digital infrastructure.
During the multi day expo visits, students explored cutting edge AI tools, intelligent platforms, hardware innovations, and real-world applications spanning sectors such as smart mobility, governance, healthcare, cybersecurity, fintech, and digital public infrastructure. Live demonstrations, product showcases, and expert interactions helped students gain practical understanding beyond classroom learning.
The participation provided valuable exposure to emerging technologies, current industry trends, and the expanding role of AI in both public sector transformation and enterprise innovation. Students described the experience as highly enriching, insightful, and closely aligned with their academic learning and future career aspirations in Artificial Intelligence and data driven technologies.
The college continues to encourage participation in such high impact industry platforms to strengthen experiential learning, innovation readiness, industry awareness, and professional competence among students.
