RAKSHAK'25" NCC Festival

The “RAKSHAK’25” NCC festival concluded with great success. This annual NCC festival was held under the leadership of the college principal, Professor Nachiketa Singh (Evening) and Captain (Dr.) Anil Kumar. The enthusiastic NCC cadets and representatives from various colleges made this event memorable with their participation.

A total of 25 colleges participated in this festival and took part in various competitions. Notably, high-ranking NCC officials were present at the event, including Colonel Dhanjeet Hudhirom (Commanding Officer, 5 Delhi Battalion NCC), Colonel Surjeet Singh (Commanding Officer, 1 Delhi Girls Battalion NCC), Subedar Major (Hony. Captain) Praveen Singh (SM 5 Delhi Battalion NCC), Subedar Major Sunil Kumar (SM 1 Delhi Girls Battalion NCC), and Subedar Balwant Singh (PI Staff Shyam Lal College), among other military officials.

The festival featured various physical and mental tests, cultural programs, and sports competitions. The participating cadets showcased their physical abilities and leadership skills remarkably. During the festival, the chief guests appreciated the hard work and dedication of the students and emphasized the need to raise awareness about the importance of NCC among the youth.

Regarding the success of this event, the college principal, Professor Nachiketa Singh expressed their happiness and stated that such events foster discipline, patriotism, and leadership qualities among students.

All participants were honoured for their outstanding performances. This successful event has given college a new identity and further inspired and motivated students towards NCC.
