Brief Description (in about 100 words):
InspirITi, the Computer Science Society of Shyam Lal College (Evening), successfully organized its annual tech quiz, “404 Not Guessed”, on 07th October 2025 in Computer Lab 1. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 35 contestants, who showcased their knowledge, quick thinking, and problem-solving skills across three challenging rounds: Guess the Device, AI vs. Real, and Guess the Logo & Founder.
The event commenced with a warm inauguration, anchored by Kanika Sonkar (B. Com (H) 3rd Year) and Abhit Singh (B. Com (H) 2nd Year), whose energetic compering set the tone for the evening. Principal Sir was welcomed with a token of appreciation by Dr. Karan Gupta and Dr. Sonia Singh. It was followed by a floral welcome for Dr. Manoj Kumar.
In his address, Principal Sir encouraged students to become active participants in college activities, explore new opportunities, and develop their skills alongside academics. Dr. Manoj Kumar highlighted recent improvements being made in the computer lab. Dr. Karan Gupta spoke about the event’s objectives and ongoing lab enhancements, while Dr. Sonia Singh inspired participants to embrace innovation, teamwork, and curiosity in their learning journey.
After a competitive start, 14 participants were eliminated in Round 1, with 21 advancing to Round 2. Only the top 8 qualified for the final round, demonstrating exceptional skill and enthusiasm.
The finale concluded with Vicky (BA Prog, 4th Year) securing first place, Adityam (BA Prog, 2nd Year) finishing second, and Kavya (BA Prog, 1st Year) taking third place. The winners were felicitated with trophies and certificates by the Principal Sir and faculty members. The event was a perfect blend of learning and fun, celebrating curiosity, innovation, and the true spirit of computer science.
The society expressed gratitude to all participants, faculty, and team members for their dedication, ensuring the event was a memorable and inspiring experience for everyone involved.
